THE PURBECK STONE WALL BEHIND HAS BEEN BUILT USING EXISTING AND NEW STONE AND ALTHOUGH APPEARS TO BE A DRY STONE WALL IS IN FACT MORTARED BEHIND TO PROVIDE A STRONG RETAINING WALL WITH THE APPEARANCE OF A DRY STONE WALL. THE WALL HAS ALSO BEEN PLANTED WITH SUITABLE PLANTS TO CREEP OVER AND SOFTEN THE LOOK OF THE WALL.
